Today, animals play the role of mediator in our emotional world, giving life to our silent and isolated social environments. In fact, through coexistence and affection these animals articulate a new definition of our being. That is to say, both define our loneliness and also remove us from this categorization. In these relationships potentials, dimensions, thresholds, diversities and developments are shaped between their specific terms of exchange. It is here that the animal is the mediator of our definition of self, potentially ignoring our (uniquely) human imperfections. Although this relation between man and animal is not seen, an opposition can be observed in the replacement of man with animal. This approach take two characteristics, expression and communication, to replace language.
